Wray & Nephew, Scotiabank and JNBS in Scotiabank Group KO semis

Four Goals by Nicholas McCreath, helped Scotiabank Group to the semi-finals of the 2010 Scotiabank Group-sponsored Kingston & St Andrew Business House Football Knockout Competition on Saturday at the NWC playfield, Mona.

They defeated Courts Jamaica 5-3 with McCreath scoring in the 10th, 39th, 87th & 89th minutes, respectively.

Ricardo Lescene of Courts scored an own goal in the 15th minute.

Scotiabank Group led 3-1 at half-time, but goals from Jermaine Oakley (33rd), Omari Dennis (68th) and Anthony Burke (82nd) levelled the score at 3-3 before McCreath's late goals decided the game.

He is the competition's leading scorer with five goals.

In other quarter-final matches, Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) defeated National Housing Trust (nht), 3-1 at Jessie Ripoll Primary School. Kimari Williams (35), Jair Minott (47) and Lauren Riley (66) scored for JNBS, while Ian Edmonson (20th) got the consolation for NHT.

The biggest upset of the day , saw Division Two contenders Wray and Nephew, stopping Division One favourites Gleaner Company 3-2 in a close game.

Glem Simms (21th), and Caetaneo Rainford (24) gave Wray & Nephew a 2-0 half-time lead. Kenrick Picknight scored a brace in the (61st and 79th) for Gleaner , but this was not enough as Ricardo Robinson's goal in the 81st minute made the difference.
