December 23, 2011- Scotiabank is offering customers more ways to shop online via its partnership with international logistics company Skybox Concierge Services.
Skybox gives ScotiaCard Visa Debit cardholders the opportunity to buy online from US-based retailer web sites that are otherwise normally only available to US credit card holders.
“Scotiabank is always looking for opportunities to improve and build on the products we offer to our clients and we are excited to partner with Skybox Concierge Service to offer Scotiabank customers another convenient way to shop online,” said Monique Todd, VP Marketing, Public Relations and Corporate Affairs.
ScotiaCard Visa Debit card holders who sign up with Skybox will receive one year free, and an additional US$10 off their first shipment. This arrangement is under the umbrella of Scotiabank’s ongoing “More For You” programme by which Scotia credit card users are able to access discounts and special deals from participating retailers.
Skybox assigns customers a U.S.-based address when they make purchases online and then ships the package to the customers’ home or office. Scotiabank Jamaica customers are among customers in 21 countries who can take advantage of this convenient service at a preferred rate, when they sign up for the Skybox Concierge online at http://www.skybox.net/scotiabank/jamaica.
The ScotiaCard Visa Debit was launched in Jamaica since August and can be used to shop online or via phone. It also opens a world of options to holders who can withdraw cash at 900,000 ATM’s worldwide and use it pay for goods and services at 14 million merchants worldwide.
